My design disappeared from the Dynamic Island

iOS ends every Live Activity after about eight hours. Open Isle and tap Put it on the island to bring it back. This applies to every app that uses the Dynamic Island, and there is no way around it.

I don't see the Dynamic Island at all

It's hardware — only iPhone 14 Pro and later have one. On earlier iPhones your design appears on the Lock Screen instead.

Nothing happens when I tap "Put it on the island"

Check that Settings › Isle › Live Activities is switched on. Isle will tell you when it's off, but it's easy to miss.

My drawing looks like a blob up there

The island draws your design at roughly 20 points across, and thin lines vanish at that size. The small preview at the top of the drawing screen is exactly actual size — if it reads there, it will read on the island.

Can I get my gems back?

Gems spent on a design aren't refundable, but the design is yours permanently: it stays in your Library and you can use it as often as you like. For refunds on gem purchases, Apple handles those at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I bought gems and they haven't arrived

Force-quit Isle and reopen it — purchases finish restoring on launch. If they're still missing, email with the date and amount and we'll sort it.

Does Isle collect my data?

No. Your designs and gem balance never leave your phone. The privacy policy has the detail.

Known limitations
